Altitudes, the French tall club, will host in Paris the Europatreffen 2011, an annual European convention gathering tall people.

In between May 29th and June 5th, tall men and women from all over the world will meet to visit Paris and have fun.

This event finds its origin in Germany thanks to the Klub Langer Menschen, and is organised on a yearly basis by a different tall club. In 2011, the French tall club will celebrate its 20th anniversary; the opportunity could not be better to organise the 44th Europatreffen. More than 500 tall people are expected in 2011 in Paris, this should be one of the most important gathering of women over 1.80 m and men over 1.90 m (*).

Visits and going outs organised over the week by Altitudes will enable participants to discover Paris, Versailles and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. This will also be a good opportunity for them to meet with other participants and to share experience regarding their tall height. A meeting will be held with the Presidents of each club with the aim of sharing ongoing projects in each country to facilitate tall persons day to day.

The European convention 2010 allowed the participants to project themselves in the Europatreffen 2011 in Paris.

After Berlin, Basel, Edinburgh, Freiburg, Osnabrück, Amsterdam and Frankfort, the Europatreffen took place in 2010 in Rostock (Germany) from 10th to 16th May. As every year, a French delegation representing Altitudes, attended. As is the tradition, the Gala Ball enabled the 2011 convention Organisation Team to give an overview of the program...
